Chris Frederiksen is one of the best-known and most highly-rated seminar leaders in the world as well as a consultant to accountancy firms worldwide. He is also a practising accountant in San Francisco, California. His experience includes partnership positions with two international CPA firms and building several independent practices in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a consultant for the past twenty years, he has been helping small and medium sized accountancy firms achieve their goals of greater profitability and greater personal satisfaction for the owners. He is now committed to helping CAs and tax professionals excel in financial services, strategic planning and other new service areas.

Peggy graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration; major in marketing.

Peggy has over 25 years of experience and increasing responsibility in retail consumer marketing. This experience has been gained as an employee in general merchandising with Sears and Mark’s Work Wearhouse and as a key consultant in niche consumer businesses and brand management with Industrial Safety Equipment Company, Kodiak and Retirement Counsel of Canada.

In her role as President, she is responsible for the overall business development of 2020 Canada. She will look for those resources in the market place that will improve the efficiency of your practice.

Richard began his career as an academic, pursuing his Doctorate in Linguistics at Ohio State University. Following that he changed over to Marketing and Advertising and armed with his degree in marketing spent the next 12 years working with some of the largest Advertising Agencies in Canada, working on major accounts such as the Royal Bank, IBM, NEC and a variety of Packaged Goods accounts including Best Foods and Effem Foods (Mars Corp.)  Many  of the campaigns Richard worked on won 'Cassies' (Canadian Advertising Awards)

During this time, Richard developed his interest and knowledge in the computer and software industry, and founded with his partner, Goddard Information Systems, which developed sales and forecasting systems for food and manufacturing firms across North and South America. Their clients ranged from small manufacturers to international corporations including Agrilink (Bird's Eye Foods), ConAgra, Lego Toys. Genesee Brewery. Richard took advantage of an opportunity to sell his stake in the firm in 2005 after 12 years and took a 2 year sabbatical to pursue some hobbies and interests and joined 2020 Canada in the summer of 2007.

Richard brings a wealth of knowledge on marketing and technology and focuses on technology advances for the accounting industry to help members implement them in their firms.

Paul Tyers is the CEO and Managing Director of Wealth Stewards Inc..

He is registered with the Ontario Securities Commission as an Associate Portfolio Manager, with the Financial Planning Standards Council as a Certified Financial Planner, with the Ontario and Canadian Institutes of Chartered Accountants as a Chartered Accountant, and with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as an Insurance Advisor.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University followed by completing his professional designations and numerous industry courses.

He  has over thirty years of experience in the wealth management, public accounting and banking sectors.  While he is responsible for the strategic direction of Wealth Stewards his primary passion is working directly with successful private clients.

Paul has also been a pioneer in the integration of wealth management services with accounting firms in Canada and internationally.  He has worked with accounting bodies to ensure compliance, and with accounting firms - dedicated to the holistic wellbeing of their clients.

Paul is author of “Fiscal Fitness”, a columnist with The Bottom Line and a speaker for various organizations including the Ontario and Canadian Institutes of Chartered Accountants.

Don earned his first degree in 1976 from UBC. He continued his passion for learning for the next 30 years when he was admitted to the International Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners. Don shares his passion for learning by delivering lectures on accounting and tax topics at UBC, Society of Management Accountants, Certified General Accountants of BC, etc. Don delivers seminars on practice management and taxation issues within the profession across Canada.

Don is presently Chair of the Public Accounting Licensing Committee of the Certified Managements Accountants of BC. He also serves on the National Board of the Canadian Institute of Financial Planners, as well as on their Education sub-committee.
Don has received career achievement recognition awards from the University of British Columbia, the Sauder School of Business, the Certified Management Accountants of Canada and the Certified General Accountants Association of BC.
